Industrial Flake Ice Makers for Top Icing and Liquid Injection.
Southern Vacuum Cooling can also custom build industrial flake ice makers. The ice makers vary in production from 3 US tons to over 40 US tons. These packaged ice makers produce and deliver flake ice to the desired area. The ice produced is flat flakes approximately 1.5 to 2 mm in thickness. Flake ice has a high surface area per ton, which provides great cooling efficiency. Top icing certain products increases the shelf-life and leads to a more desirable product.
